We know there is a lot of competition out there for pickleball equipment. Kourt Shark paddles are made to compete with the best, and most expensive paddles. Using cutting-edge materials, processes, and finishes, our paddles are as good or better than the competition. We use the industry standards when designing all of our paddles. All of our paddles are USA Pickelball Approved, meaning they are eligible to be used in all sanctioned tournaments. This means our paddles are built to meet the standards of the USAPA.

Most paddles are made with two pieces of material with a core in the middle, and an edge guard along the seam. Edgeless paddles are not made that way. Edgeless paddles have one solid outer layer over a honeycomb core. They are thinner and sleeker than a standard paddle with an edge guard. They are said to have more "pop" compared to a similar paddle with an edge guard. Being a thinner paddle, they play a bit more lively than other paddles.

No! You don't have to. Over time you may chip the paint on the edge of a paddle but the paddle it's self is extremely strong. Many players choose to put a strip of electrical tape along the edge of the paddle for protection. We do recommend you consider this option if you want to prevent any chipping to the paint or to the outer layers of the paddle.

Within the field of popular balls, there are many options. If we consider a popular ball that is "fast" with "40" holes to be on the faster, harder side of the spectrum, and a ball that is softer to be on the other end of the spectrum, the KS-1 is right in the middle. Our ball is not the hardest ball you will use, and definitely not the softest. Our ball will outlast most of the other balls as we are made to be durable. Our ball is the perfect ball for beginners and advanced players alike. We know you may have your favourite ball, and that's okay. When considering our ball, with the durability, playability, and our price point, it's a tough offer to pass up!

Yes! We want everyone to be able to try out our products, however, we currently only have an in-person demo system. Meaning, you can either visit our Kourt Shark H.Q. in Oakville, Ontario and take out a demo, or you can try one from one of our authorized Kourt Shark Ambassadors. Hopefully, we will have a mail demo system in place soon. Until then, look out for us at a tournament near you.
